I have:
Razer Blackwidow v4 pro

Running:

Razer Synapse v 3.8.930.91517
Using Windows 11

I used the ‘Studio’ to create a custom lighting setup. CustomLight1

I used the ‘Keyboard” section to create a profile. ‘PC3080-Default 1’ and saved it on the keyboard.

As long as I use this keyboard and this computer it is fine. But when I switch computers all the issues start to happen. I have a simple kvm swtich which really just jumps between two usb ports for a splitter. They keyboard is plugged into the switch. The other machine is a mac and my work laptop so I’d prefer to not put new software onto the mac. When i switch between the two computers there is a series of bugs that happen. Not sure the triggers for the different bugs but here is the list:

  • keyboard stops lighting up and will not have lights until unplugged and plugged back in
  • keyboard dropes configuration. configuration absolutly doesn’t work even when saved on keyboard if plugged into mac
  • when connecting back to windows machine after using the mac I no longer have my CustomLight1 what so ever. I can reimport it manually since I saved an export but am not able to have it within the profile. Somehow its not being saved into the profile or after its saved its being dropped/corrupted.

My macros do seem to be saved within my profile. If I could macro reloading that would also be a good solution but I don’t see quick commands within the chroma studio to load the saved profile. But if there is some other keyboard based interface I can force it to load with a macro that would also be a fine workaround. But manually going into the software and clicking into the studio to reimport is too many steps.
