Razer Blackwidow v4 pro won´t connect and keyboard lights are constantly flickering

I got the exact issue, although the keyboard worked fine for a few months, looking forward to a solution!

I think I have found the answer! 
For the first time the keyboard works! And it has been working for a full day now so I’m hopefull. 

I used a different USB cable than what came with the keyboard from Razer. Now it works perfectly. 

Using bad cables Razer?

I actually also got to this solution soon after commenting, using the other USB cable that came with the keyboard as well!

I was almost defeated by this too lol,

Now it works perfectly well again :)

If anyone sees this post from Google, the solution is -

Change your BlackWidow V4 cable to the second one that came in the package, or purchase a replacement one! ✨

I had the same behavior at the end of last week (October 2024: everything was OK on Friday; on Saturday the Blackwidow keyboard lights flickered and no keys worked). A new USB cable and resetting the keyboard helped. Why does the Razer cable cause such problems (even when it is hardly moved)? Does Razer have a quality problem with the USB cable?

I also just encountered this issue, connect for a moment when plugging in then disconnecting, lights flickering single colour. I was at the end of my rope considering regedits and a full system reinstall before I found this thread and tried the other USB cable that came with. For me this problem occurred after 10 months.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alternate USB to USB-c cables as these ones are clearly not the best?
