I just bought a used Razer Blade 15 (2022) (RZ09-0412P), and was hoping to connect to an LG 5K UltraFine Thunderbolt3/USB-C monitor. Sadly, although the USB-C devices appear to connect, the display itself remains dark, and the laptop doesn’t see it.
I based my decision on this monitor connection matrix, and it seems that 5K UHD should be supported over DP-over-Thunderbolt connection. I have a sinking feeling that the Razer Blade 15 only supports DP-over-USBC, and the LG 5K only supports DP-over-TB3 and they can’t actually talk to each other.
Help!
