[Razer Blade 15 Advanced] Ethernet via USB-C Adapter disconnects periodically

I've been having an issue with my ethernet connection. I use a UNI USB-C to Ethernet Adapter. I've used this same cable/connection/adapter on multiple devices I have without any issues. However when I plug it into my Razer, I am able to connect to the internet for about 5-10 mins, then I lose internet connectivity. If I unplug and plug the cable back in, I'm good for another 5-10 mins. If I attempt to troubleshoot the network, it says that it finds a problem "default gateway is not available" and fixes it. Then I'm good for another 5-10 mins. I've attempted to uninstall and reinstall the RealTek Driver, and updated my firmware from the installer at this link: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5492/~/razer-blade-15%E2%80%9D-advanced-%282020%29-%7C-rz09-0330x-drivers-%26-downloads and I was hoping maybe windows had something to do with it and would patch it in Windows 11, but that day never came. Here I am about a year later, after switching to exclusively WIFI and I am out of ideas on how to fix this. Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Are you only having connection issues when using the adapter? You can try updating its driver and make sure both the Synapse 3 app and Windows OS are up to date. Should the problem persists, PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and check for other workarounds to help you address your concern. Thanks!

Hi Zionzedd! Yes, this adapter is the only method I currently have of connecting an ethernet cable to this laptop. I don't have other Windows machines, but it works flawlessly on my Macbook FWIW. The driver for it is up to date [Screenshot 1]. Synapse seems to be having a little trouble with the updater but going by the version number 20230116 and assuming that's a date (odd coincidence if not) seems to be fairly up to date [Screenshot 2]. And windows is up to date [Screenshot 3]. My first thought was "maybe I should try a different adapter. Maybe this one has compatibility issues with this laptop." but I found a thread on reddit with people complaining about the same thing https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/tta4iq/usbc_ethernet_connection_dropping_repeatedly_on/ so it's unlikely a different adapter will work. I will do it in the name of science though if you would like to try a specific model. I will now PM you my serial number. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks, Ahmed

I have the same issue on my Razer Blade 14.

I am using the Thunderbold 4 Razer Dock (no Chroma RGB).

The connection works on my Mac and Windows 10, but not my Blade 14.

Well, it works for a few minutes, but stops after a while.

It’s such a drag when gaming, cause it switches to WIFI in the middle of a game (after I think maybe it’ll work this time) and then stays on WIFI until I disconnect and reconnect the ethernet cable from the dock.
