Hello everyone.

 

I need to know if I can charge my laptop with an 100W power charger using the type-c or thunderbolt port, it will be much easier for me to carry it around. My model has an RTX 3060, I7-11800H and I am planning to use it for study and surfing the internet while I use the type c or thunderbolt charger.

Please if anyone has been in the same situation as me, let me know if I can use an 100W power charger and what model of charger do you have. I was thinking to buy the Razer Gan Charger but I don’t want to spend 160 pounds for something that might not be compatible with my laptop. 

I like to mention that I been searching everywhere on the internet for this information and I could’t find an answer.

Hi I also have the same model and would like to know if I can charge using usb c I have tried my friends 65w charger but it didn’t work the Razer support page for this laptop says it will work but the list of usb c charging laptops says it won’t

 

“Use the 230W adapter to get the best performance while your Razer Blade is running under heavy load. Under normal or light usage, you may use a 100W USB-C adapter for convenience. If you observe that it takes longer to recharge your Razer Blade or it is not even charging at all, then use the supplied 230W adapter.” Razer support page

would be great to get an answer nser on this before I try and buy a 100w charger

Also watching. I have the Razer Blade 15” Advanced (2021) | RZ09-0409x. 

Trying to figure out if I can use the Thunderbolt port to charge so I don’t have to lug around the 200w charger everywhere. 

 

I tried plugging in my phone USB-C charger into the Thunderbolt port, and PC did not seem to recognize it at all. 

Any update ? My razerbalde while is on will take only 12w and i can only charge it via usb c only when i turn off the laptop :(

Hi I have a RB15 Advanced i7 12800h 3070ti Im currentky using a Ugreen 100w Nexode charger (around 60 in amazon) works perfectly fine. Dont try charging with a Macbook cable or charger, they´re 96W and it will charge sometimes but most of the time it wont. Also make sure to get a cable that supports 100w PD. Charges my RB15 pretty quick to be fair and to be on the go works wonders. Razer blades wont charge through usbc PD if theyre under 5% I think so always keep that in mind aswell!

Why would it charge sometimes and most of the time it wont? why is the condition of variable to consider?

I’m thinking about buying a type c pd charger, but i hesitate because it wont charge through my mac book m1 charger.
