Hey I have a Razer 15 base model RZ09-03009W76-R3W1 and it will only run on mains power. As soon as the mains power is disconnected the machine shuts off, immediately. The battery does not appear to be providing any power at all and the charging light does not light up when its plugged in.



The battery connector is connected to the board, I can't see anything wrong with the battery unit itself.



I don't have a second battery with the same connector on it to try swapping another one in.



I am concerned that if I buy a replacement battery it may transpire that the problem is on the board, not the battery.



Does anyone have any ideas how to either test whether the battery is dead, the board is faulty or how else to proceed.



The machine is out of warranty.
