Hello! Recently, I have had problems with the file explorer, where it would freeze up and trying to restart the laptop would sometimes make the entire pc crash. After a bit of research I came to the conclusion I should just do a Restore which should give me a clean install of windows, hopefully fixing the problem(This is on windows 10). I got everything ready to restore my PC until windows started it and stopped saying " we could not restore your PC" with no details whatsoever. So I navigate the windows restore options and there was a built in razer restore so I decided to start that. The restore has been stuck at 1% for multiple hours now and most likely isn't gonna work. I wanted to know:

What do do I do to get the laptop to leave the restore phase? Is it safe to restart or is there something else I can do?

And what should I do to solve with problem with file explorer and windows 10?

 

I too have a similar problem except mine is the 2023 version and is on Windows 11. I am trying doing this to see whether this resolves the battery draining issue. I am currently on my second one. Will keep perceiving!

Found the issue! Turns out if you have the original compressed image containing the same recovery system files on the USB media with the decompressed recovery system files, this causes the media to hang on 1% Copying Files.
