razer cortex not opeing in a window

i have been having an issue with cortex where it refuses to open the window but will still boost games and run in the background 

the task bar app looks like this ⬇

If I understand you correctly, did you mean that when you clicked the LAUNCH CORTEX button, the main UI of Razer Cortex did not open, but when you launched a game, the BOOST feature worked well? 

 

If this is your scenario, please feel free to provide us with your Razer Cortex logs via pm for us to further investigate this issue.
