Razer Huntsman V3 Pro - High pitched noise when LEDs active

The noise goes away when the LEDs are disabled and increases in intensity the brighter the LEDs get. I’ve tried the suggested ideas such as making sure it’s connected to the computer directly, enabled and disabled all the Chroma stuff, all software and firmware updates are applied. It is almost like a squealing capacitor. I’ve seen multiple reports of this problem but never a solution posted. I just bought the keyboard and want to keep it, but I can’t use it like this. Any other suggestions? Do you just live with it?

I can’t believe  this issue is still present on the newest Razer products…

Years ago, I personally tested tons of different Huntsman V2 keyboards (both linear and analog) and all of them experienced  coilwhine via leds PWM IC. Among other hundreds similar posts on various forums, here and also reddit, I signaled the issue, hoping at least the next Razer products won’t have the issue anymore.

Your post saddens me immensely. Because of the cheap electronic parts, Razer is destroying itself as a brand. Sad.

Thank you for the reply. I agree, this is very sad and easily preventable. Functionally, I love the keyboard. If i turn it down all the way to the point I can barely see the leds, then I don’t notice the noise. It’s silly. What’s the point of having leds if you have to turn them down 😑
