Razer kaira pro stopped working

So I stepped away from my console (5-10 meters) and my headset disconnected. Upon my return I was surprised to find my mic was no longer working but I was getting sound. a few frustrated hours have passed and I believe I have the mic working again (no way to test). however now I am receiving no sound through the headset (except when I reach volume limits or when it powers on), and I am unable to get the headset to connect to a Bluetooth device (other than the Xbox). had anyone got a suggestion of where I can start or have these headphones (in mint condition) died and need the bin?
