I’ve had my Razer Kaira headset since May 2023, and it’s been working fine connected to my PS5 and my Razer laptop. However, I recently got a PC, and while the sound quality is good, my PC will not recognize it as a headset -- and consequently doesn’t register that there is a mic.
I’ve tried every trouble shooting option I’ve seen even mentioned. I went into my Windows 11 settings and messed around -- but no input devices were detected. I downloaded Razer Synapse and registered my device, and nothing showed up. I went into the Realtek Audio Console to try and change it from a ‘headphone’ to a ‘headset’ there, but didn’t get the option. I went into Control Panel and Device Manager and updated drives, removed and readded the device, etc. Nothing seems to be working.
Because it’s already a wired device and doesn’t have bluetooth capabilities, I don’t think an adapter is a solution. But I don’t know why it works on my laptop and not on my PC.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
