I have had my razer kitty headset for less than a year and its already showing signs of wear and tear. I got it last year for Christmas and although they are great sound wise, quality wise they are awful. I've tried multiple different USB ports and nothing stops them from disconnecting and popping. Lately it has been getting worse and the slight movement of the wire causes my whole game to drop from 60 fps to 40fps and even crash my whole game and sometimes my whole pc will just straight up freeze. physically they are showing no signs of wear or tear apart from the wire tangling up, could this be why? I've tried to see if its an issue with synapse but I'm not sure.

This isn’t just you, this seems to be an issue for many people, myself included, unfortunately my headset is out of warranty but I have had this issue for well over 2 years, with no permanent fix, from what I’ve read it seems to be an issue with either the headset requiring too much power, or an issue with the razer synapse software, I’m sorry I can’t offer a solution to you, if you find one please let me know 
Mine’s doing the exact same, crashing games, no port works perfectly, and i’ve had it for 3 years so no warranty for me :(
