Razer Kraken Kitty Edition

i got brand new headphones today. Plugged them in, downloaded the app to use them, set up was going fine, audio was fine, stepped away with them sitting in the exact same spot so i know nothing had happened to them, and now my microphone wont work (my mute light wont even turn on or off now) and i cant hear anything out of them no matter how i change the settings on my computer. Please can anyone help me
