Recently my headset has been popping and disconnecting me making my mic not work. And VERY recently they started showing up as Conexant. i got the last year ( 2021) in december and im just wondering what i can do . uninstalling the conexant driver and restarting just makes it come back and i dont know what to do at this point

UPDATE i've fixed the conexant issue. tho i would still like a follow up on the technical side as to why my headset keeps popping the sound and disconnecting my mic i believe it might be the wires but i just want to make sure and am wondering what i can do to fix this issue

Do the audio and my issues persist on multiple devices? You can try the steps here for further isolation. PM me the serial number if that didn't help so I can validate its model and check our options. Thanks!

Im somewhat having the same issue. I made a post to try to get some help. Headset pops, lags out any game im playing. Makes my browser freeze and then no sound.
