I just got my Kraken V3 X today and it doesn’t show up on synapse. I tried re-installing it and removing the remaining drivers but it still won’t show up.
If you have valorant installed, then uninstall Riot Vanguard anti-cheat which may block devices to be shown in Synapse.
Also you can try clean reinstall if above will not work:
- Uninstall Synapse
- Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
- Then restart your PC
- After reboot install Synapse again (as administrator).
I don’t have Valo installed so I just did step 1 to 4. Unfortunately Synapse still doesnt detect it.
I assume it’s directly connected to USB port (preferred USB 3.0 and above) on motherboard, instead USB hub?
Headset is detected in Windows device manager?

Yes its directly connected in my laptop’s(Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57-535z) USB port. This is how it looks like in my Device Manager.
same issue, did you solve your problem dude?
same issue ?? what is the solution ?
All right, had this issue too. You have to go into device manager, under sound, video and game controllers try and disable Intel Smart Sound Techonolgy for USB audio. After disabling it try restarting Syn and it should show up.

I did a clean install, disabled the Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB audio and still synapse won’t pick up my Razer Kraken V3 X USB and it is new. So unless the hardware is broke out of the box I don’t get why it is not working. I think the software is the issue because I never had Riot Vanguard Anti-Cheat software ever. Any more suggestions? Should it be on Synapse 2 and not Synapse 3? I mean it says it supports it but I am just trying to figure out a work around. Also, forgot to mention I even tried a different USB port and nothing fixed it but I can hear, it just doesn’t pull it into the Synapse 3, like it says it is supprorted but it clearly isn’t.
Thank you!
Yeah, I’m super done with Razer products at this point. Support is useless. Just the same advice over and over and then when it doesn’t work, support ghosts. Moving to Corsair peripherals entirely. Tossing my Razer keyboard, mouse, and headset. Just not worth the headache.

I highly recommend you check if your headset needs a firmware update as apparently both the dongle and headset were 4 updates behind and for some reason you have to download a seperate application to update the firmware.
You can find your headsets firmware here: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4166
It will take you through a step by step process I have no idea why razer doesn't at least let you know or advertise it at all but it fixed all my problems.
