Razer naga v2 pro side panel buttons not registering

I have the razer naga v2 pro with swappable side panels. Pretty quickly out of the box the side panel buttons, no matter which one I use but especially noticeable on the 12 sided buttons, the buttons sometimes don't register when you press them. It was so rare when I got the mouse that it was barely an issue, but now a few months later the issue is there multiple times a minute, which is very annoying when playing MMO's and your abilities just aren't being used. For example, if I were to open nodepad and press a 2 over and over every ~7th press would not register for two clicks. This has pretty much only and mostly been an issue on the number 2,4,5 and 7 button.

I've tried the solutions like taking it on and off, and gently cleaning the side panel connections and pins with rubbing alcohol, but it still doesn't fix the issue. Is this just a normal thing with Naga mice?

I bought a Corsair scimitar MMO mouse, but it's extremely uncomfortable and straining to use, so I'd rather return it and see if there is any way of fixing my Naga since it's perfect comfort wise.

Is there anyone that has had similar issues and found a fix?

    same issue im buying the hyprespeed this time hoping that the fixed side button will solve this issue

    i have th pro v2 model and im pissed at how unreliable it was out of the box, giving razer a second try hopefully it wont dissapoint

    “same issue” but my side bottoms dont work at all. and this is my second brand new razer naga v2 pro. that dont working. cant cutomize the side panel only the scroll and other buttoms but not the side panels at all

    I am having the same issue, I’ve tried cleaning the contacts and that works but only for a little bit. I’ve tried blowing the debris out of the contacts and that only worked for a little bit. I’ve tried updating the firmware but that only makes 2/3 of the buttons work.

    Something is wrong and I don’t know how to fix it ;-;

    I’ve literally had 5 razr naga mouses in the lapse of 5 years and they have all failed me. My Razer Naga X just died last night. The N1 won’t register anymore. It does the same thing it always does, intermittent, sometimes it reads it and sometimes it doesn’t.

    I sincerely can’t believe that Razer doesn’t know about these issues. It’s sad to say but i’m glad i’m not the only one. 

    I guess I have to switch to Logitech? :(

    Yeah i’ve had older versions of the Naga before, but the latest one being the Naga V2 Pro, the button 5 on 12 key panel just doesn’t work for me. Very annoying
