Razer nari ultimate 3.5mm jack problem

Hi guys, i have a problem. I plug my 3.5mm jack in notebook, i can hear sounds, but my microphone doesnt work and razer synapse and my notebook dont detect that razer nari ultimate set. Even during game, i have headset and my friends with who i talk can hear echoes... doesnt make sense... any suggestions what to do? Cuz i would like to use my microphone etc. Thanks

    When headset is connected via 3.5mm mini-jack - then it's not supported by synapse (you can't pass any data through 3.5mm mini jack, only USB). If your microphone is not working while connected via 3.5 mm mini jack - be sure it's connected to audio combo port (for headphones and microphone). Also a lot of laptops have built-in Realtek audio card - there's problem with some drivers, I'd recommend installing the newest ones and try - when connecting your headset it should pop up a window with and ask which device is connected (headphones, headphones with microphone, speakers etc - ofc you select headphones with mic option).
