the warning sign, attached to the nvme ssd screw “power off before installation” means only shut down of the system or disconnect battery connector from the motherboard?

The nvme and ram installation videos are not mentioning detaching of the battery connector (with a factory seal, which gets destroyed if detached):

If the system has been shutted down, power should be removed from the ssd slot and ram, only usb and rj45 port for wake-on should be powered.
