Razer Stealth 13 Windows BSOD when I plug in Core

I am trying connect my core with a GTX 1060 with my blade stealth 13. The core has been sitting in storage for about a year (I am forced to try it since my blade 14 crapped out for he second time in a month). When I plug it into the stealth with the thunderbolt connection, windows immediate BSOD. I assume it is because the external GPU or the core itself needs driver updates. How can I update them if windows immediately shuts down and reboots?

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
