The Razer Naga Hyperspeed V2 allows for assigning “repeat scroll right” and “repeat scroll left” keybinds- these are also the default ones in Synapse for horizontal wheel movement. Some programs (like Excel) rely on these key presses to scroll in horizontal matter. However, many programs I use do a different approach for horizontal scrolling: Shift + Up/ Down scroll.
I am now trying for quite a while and cannot figure out whether it is possible to assign in Synapse the left/ right wheel movements to achieve repetitive scroll + shift… The best I got was to record a macro in which I hold shift, do few scrolls, release shift, then set the keybind in Synapse as “Play while assigned key is pressed”. This however does not work as intended, as the eventual movement is not fluent, since complete macro scripts are being played in a loop.
Is there a possibility here I am not aware of? I would appreciate all feedback!
