Hello,
I own a Razer Blade 14 (Model RZ09-0370, RTX 3070, Ryzen 9 5900HX) and have been experiencing serious issues with battery life. Its only 2-3 hours. I notice that the laptop gets slightly warm and the fans are spinning and sometimes all of a sudden it depicted 5-10 hours of battery life and then the fans also stopped and it went completely cold. I am running windows 11 and do have Amd Adrenaline installed.
Symptoms:
- Battery life is sometimes as low as 2 hours, even though I have closed all unnecessary background processes.
- Occasionally, the system suddenly shows normal battery life (5–10 hours). During these times, the laptop remains cool, the fans are quiet, and power consumption appears normal. However, I haven't been able to determine what triggers this state.
- The laptop gets very warm even under light usage, despite no significant CPU or GPU load being visible in Task Manager.
- RTX 3070 remains at 0% usage, while the integrated AMD Radeon GPU handles all graphics tasks. However, the dedicated GPU memory of the AMD GPU is often at 300–400 MB out of 512 MB, which seems unusually high.
- I have checked for background applications, power settings, and Nvidia/AMD profiles that might be causing the issue but haven't found a solution.
Steps I’ve Already Taken:
Manually checked and minimized background processes
Set power options to Battery Saver mode
Updated GPU and CPU drivers
Performed system cleanup and reduced startup programs
Disabled overclocking (but the battery drain issue persists)
Despite all these measures, the problem remains unresolved. Also i replaced the battery so it is a completely new battery. I also have done a battery analasis via command in powershell and it has its whole capacity and no damaged cells.
Can you maybe help me somehow with this issue? I would be really thankfull if you know what i could do.
Thank you in advance for your help!
