Sleep Settings Onboard Razer Viper Ultimate?

Hi, I just got a new Razer Viper Ultimate. I used Synapse to change when it would enter sleep mode. Does Synapse have to be running for this to take effect, or can I go ahead and shut down Synapse? It seems like my Macros are working once I quit Synapse, so I figure the sleep options might hopefully be onboard the mouse as well? Thanks!
