Speaker/audio problem - Razer Blade 14

I've run into a problem lately with my Blade 14, hoping someone here can help. The speakers - those built into the laptop and those I plug in via the jack - are not working properly. I was listening to something and the audio went dead. Restarting the machine usually (but not always) gets them working again, but now then they go dead again after several minutes. I've had the machine for about 2 years and this only started in the last week or so. I reinstalled the speaker driver and that had no effect, still have the problem. Listening via Bluetooth works just fine, even when the other speakers have stopped working. Any ideas? Thank you very much...
