Synapse 3 Not Opening

Have you done a clean install of Synapse? I run Windows 11 (upgraded from Win10) and Synapse runs fine. Before you do a clean install, gather the log files first. Then perform the clean install and if it still fails, gather the logs again. The logs will (or should!) state why Synapse is failing to start. It is critical to run the Synapse installer as an Admin.

I literally don't know what the logs say. And doing the clean reinstall did not work for me. Not even when I did run as administrator. Edit To Add: Now that I've uninstalled the latest version of Synapse 3 to an earlier version just to test if the issue was still there. I get a command prompt that pops up when it tries to start saying something about a dependecy failed or something like that. With as many issues as I am having with Synapse. My absolute last resort would be to do a system restore of my computer and start all over.

Did it install okay with no errors, or did the popup occur during the installation part? As in, not once it finished and wants to start Synapse? The log file creator you ran generates quite a large file (too big to upload here). The Razer guys on here will ask you to upload it via a shared folder. If you open the generated zip file, you will be able to upload individual files however as they will be small enough. If you want to upload the following files here: ..\\Synapse 3\\Installer Logs\\install.log ..\\Synapse 3\\Synapse3 Logs\\Synapse3.Host.log ..\\Synapse 3\\Synapse3 Logs\\SynapseService.log ..\\Synapse 3\\Synapse3 Logs\\SynapseService_errors.log I can see if they will show which dependency has failed. It may be just something like a C++ SDK that needs repairing, which is easier than restoring your system. You could also try doing an SFC repair (heres a link to a page describing how to do that - just the SFC part, don't worry about the DISM part). Up to you of course. I do believe a system restore will more than likely fix your problem, as the issue does sound like it's a software problem and not a hardware issue.

Sorry for super late reply. Been crazy busy. I have had something pop up with Razer lately. When I try to open it now (I have down a system restore yet, haven't had the time). I do get a command prompt kind of pop up. Here is a screenshot of what happens when I start to try to run Razer Synapse 3. Not sure if this helps.

I would consider following the uninstall of Synapse I posted above. After the uninstall and reboot however, before you re-install Synapse, go to Add/Remove Programs, and uninstall any C++ redistributables listed. Reboot again, and then do the Synapse re-install.

If I uninstall all the C++ redistributables on my computer won't that make the rest of my programs on my computer not work? Also I seem to have like 15 C++ redistributables. Also looked at my Razer Logs. And my Synapse3 Logs folder appears empty.

It will only affect apps that have a C++ dependency, which is not all apps. Generally, if a dependency is missing, the app will throw an exception and should pop up a dialog window complaining that a file is missing. When that happens, just repair or re-install that app, which should re-install the C++ redistributable package required. If you don't have the original installer, you can find out what C++ version you need (the error should call out what version is required), and then just download it from Microsoft and install it. Once installed, your app should work fine again.

That didn't seem to help. Still getting the exact same pop up when I try to start Synapse 3.
