Synapse - Multiple identical mice

I have two identical Viper Mini's and a Basilisk, wired versions. Synapse happily identifes a Viper and the Basilisk as expected, but it does not identify the two Viper's as different devices. It simply treats them both as one mouse. I can create and apply different profiles to each mouse individually by just having one plugged in, so functionally, everything works as intended. Obviously however, this is not convenient. Is there a way for each mouse to be identified separately? I noticed I could not customise the actual device name through Synapse, if this is possible would that solve the issue? Or is this simply a software oversight because most people don't own multiple identical models? lol I apologise if there is a solution already posted that I missed. Thank you.
