synapse profiles gone 2.0

I have a similar problem. A few days ago I noticed that the sync time has become noticeably longer. Then I noticed that all my profiles disappeared.
I reinstalled Synapse 2, but this did not bring any results, my profiles are gone.
This is disappointing, it was a lot of work. And the new versions of Synapse no longer support Orbweaver.

A Google search revealed that this is not the first time this has happened, but I could not find a solution anywhere.
Razer Support, please return my profiles!

I have the same issue just now. Clean install on Syn2 does not work. My whole profile got wiped out….

Same here. Had lots of profile for a lot of games. Now every profile is as default. Any advance in this, or is razer just no caring at all?

I have had this issue with a few reinstalls. The first time, I lost all my profiles (reinstalled Synapse 2.0) I was as livid as anybody else here. Not just over a hundred profiles were gone, but the history of this entire device ( I am talking years worth of profiles). So after accepting the loss I started recreating profiles based on what I was playing at the time, Then… for some unknown reason, one day the syncing returned all my profiles. And combined them with my new dozen or more profiles I had created since the loss. Basically mixing the list together. Doubling up on the games with new profiles since all the originals returned.

Weird, annoying, inconvenient but ultimately acceptable. Until all my profiles disappeared once again after a recent reinstall and have never returned. Ridiculous.

SOLUTION / WORKAROUND:
This the only solution I have found and it’s based on old school tried and true methodology. Backup/Export all your profiles. I can’t believe I have to say it, but just save your profiles elsewhere. Save them off to some drive you already keep for backups and this single little razer file will save your sanity if and when you lose your profiles again. This way all you need to do is import the file and all profiles will be returned. I literally just did this on a new install. Synapse 2.0 installed, did it’s thing and synced, showed me no profiles being imported when syncing was complete so I just did it myself from backup.
