Synapse: unable to update / reinstall

After the latest update the update process was stuck at 100% for several hours. I ended the software and restarted the pc. After that I had to reinstall razer synapse. I uninstalled all razer software and deleted all folders in programs and programs x86, restarted ran the installer again. It again was stuck at 100% for several minutes, than a cmd window appeared for ~1seconds stating some error I couldn't read, after 3 retries the installer aborted with a general error message. I tried the wohle process a second time, same result. Any advice here? (Windows 10)

update: after using revo uninstaller the reinstall process was successful. (I love razer hardware but I hate the software, I don't need it, I wished there was a way to set my huntsman elite to a default red color profile after power on, without any extra software... razer?
