The problem with double-clicking in Razer DeathAdder – are there any solutions?

Hi everyone, I've been having a very annoying problem with my Razer DeathAdder lately — it randomly clicks twice when I press the button only once. Simple tasks such as dragging files or even clicking on links turn into a real nightmare.

I've tried adjusting the double-click speed in Windows settings, cleaning switches, and even using compressed air, but nothing seems to fix the problem completely. Before I go and buy a new mouse, does anyone know how to fix this?

Tested for double-clicking on https://doubleclicktest.com

Any advice would be helpful — in fact, I don't want to replace the mouse yet.
