Hi there, this is for the people that are confused about why their Tiamat 7.1 V1 or other headset devices that cost $200+ isnt showing up when they launch Razer Synapse 2.0.
This is because the 7.1 surround sound headset is an "analog input" meaning that the USB connection only provides power for the headset, and the audio jacks communicate with the sound card or audio driver/programs on the compute; this means that Synapse cannot communicate & understand that its a Razer device like it does with Keyboards or Mice (I have the Deathadder 2013 and it recognizes that).
So, its actually really simple! Dont go uninstalling audio drivers like the High Definition Audio Device or NVIDIA High Definition Audio because those are based with the NVIDIA Applications and Microsoft/Windows operating system.
Here: With Synapse installed (restarted computer etc), install the Razer Surround Pro driver (this link will automatically request to download the driver, accept and follow install instructions):
https://dl.razerzone.com/drivers/Surround/win/RazerSurroundInstaller_v2.0.29.20.exe
**THIS IS NOT A VIRUS OR HOAX, I wasted so much time trying to figure out why it wasnt working, then a support lady gave me the download, I downloaded it and when I opened Synapse it showed the Razer Surround Pro, which then you can select which headset you have (For Tiamat V1, select Tiamat 2.2, it works the same), and voila, you have all the Razer audio customations.
Hope this helps at least one person. Thanks
