What's going on with Synapse?

I was running Synapse just fine fine for years until recently. Now it seems to uninstall itself, and when I reinstall it, it wants me to "register" my Razer equipment, as though I didn't do that years ago. This keeps happening, and it's becoming very annoying. I mean, it's happening over and over again. Synapse used to work just fine; now it's a huge problem. Not sure what information i need to post here, so any advice would be helpful.
