What side button switches does the Pro Click Mini use?

polyinsightStizza978

What are they called? What are their dimensions? Are they optical or mechanical? What kind of pins do they have?

I need to know this because I consider modding the mouse but it wouldn’t be worth it for me to take the risk and open it up and lose my right to return it because without modded side buttons the mouse would be useless to me due to the side buttons’ high actuation force.

Mechanical.

You must disassembly it to 100% confirm, but from what I know it’s uses square switches for side buttons (dunno about dimensions, are these “standard” ones or not).

But for eg. Kailh Silent Box might fit (be aware that these switches are really silent ;) there are also normal variant available, with audible ‘click’): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006116146860.html?dp=17292915%3A31170465%3AT444821130&sub=17292915%3A31170465%3AT444821130&subid=17292915%3A31170465%3AT444821130&aff_fcid=bba0edbd10654920926122b1aae611b6-1716960454310-00791-_rQeIVp&aff_fsk=_rQeIVp&aff_platform=link-c-tool&sk=_rQeIVp&aff_trace_key=bba0edbd10654920926122b1aae611b6-1716960454310-00791-_rQeIVp&terminal_id=14e0a133eb524279af4de134c8dec33c&afSmartRedirect=y

Noted. How high is the actuation force of this Kailh switch compared to that of the Pro Click Mini’s side buttons?
