Wired Basilisk V3 not working only on my computer, the usb ports work otherwise

I bought a Basilisk V3 wired mouse. It does not turn on or light up when I plug it into my laptop. The mouse works on other laptops. The USB ports on my computer are functional with any other type of cord except for the mouse. I’ve restarted my computer as well as made sure everything was up to date. I also uninstalled and re-installed the Razer Synapse to no avail. I have a Dell G15 laptop. Thank you for any help in advance.
