Xbox series X doesn't recognize Atrox

My Xbox series X doesn't recognize my Atrox arcade stick as a controller. It doesn't show up at all under accessories when plugged in. It hasn't been an issue except when multiple controllers and/ or sticks are used for local play. That was until the new trend of confirming your controller after a game starts, usually prior to logging into that game. It just doesn't work at all for them and I have no idea how to fix this. Any help would be great.
