Same.

whole tab wont appear.

Tried to remove macro module (so i can re add) and it wont remove.

None of my macros work now.

All because i stupidly thought i could upgrade to synapse 4 and there wouldnt be any issues. I tried the upgrade and all my control profiles for my mouse disappeared and it said they were corrupt. So reinstalled synapse 3 and my macros arent working.

Update. To the guy that asked for support but doesnt look to have had any.

Delete everything razor you can. Reinstall and log in and download everything again. Seems to have got everything working.

It’ll be a long time before i try synapse 4 again.

if i remember well i reinstalled synapse 3 and all was ok again, but as razer 4 was faster i took screenshots and manually created all the macros again.

This worked for me. Deleted everything from Program Files (x86) and %AppData%\Local and %AppData%\Roaming (although not sure if the latter two were truly necessary) after uninstalling and then immediately reinstalled. Didn’t even need to restart my PC. Was then able to reinstall the macro module, and now all my macros work again.

This is awfully similar to my experience when they went from Synapse 2 to 3. I only upgraded this time because a support tech needed me to do so to troubleshoot a scroll wheel issue, but I should have just lied and told him I did (especially since it was quite clearly a decoder issue, not a software issue).

“upgraded” to razer synapse 4…

everything worked after convert from raser 3→ 4 EXCEPT macros were not being triggered - the key is bound but no macro will trigger

deleted the macros - recreated from scratch (IN synapse 4) - assigned to key - still nothing

tried assugning o doffernet ks on my tartarus pro,  and on my deathadder mouse… nothiung makes the macros trigger

even a simple macro that typed “hello” will not trigger with synapse 4

such a waste… no i have to uninstall and revert to synapse 3 to get stuff to work as it used to :(  very disappointed had similar issue when i updated from razer synapse 2→ 3 ages ago.

very disappointed with this type of issue that i have had several times over the years with raser updates

Why didn’t I read this thread before trying upgrade from Synapse 3 to Synapse 4?

I experienced exactly the same as babbul91….

  • Upgrade from Synapse 3 to Synapse 4 ==> Razer Tartarus Pro does not work anymore (there was no issue detected by upgrade procedure)
  • After many unsuccessful attempts to get Synapse 4 to work with Tartarus ==> Uninstall Synapse 4 and re-install Synapse 3 from scratch
  • Tartarus is working again with Synapse 3, including the old Macros - BUT:
Synapse 3 shows Macro tab - however nothing happens when I select this tab…. ==> I can no longer create or modify Macros with Synapse 3 :((

Note that I deleted Synapse 4 completely from PC before re-installing Synapse 3. So the solution of mark1779 didn’t work for me.

Does anybody have other ideas?

Thanks a lot in advance!
