Razer Synapse 4

Hello, good morning! I use two Razer products: a Tartarus V2 keypad and a wireless Naga V2 mouse.I had to restore my PC, and now Razer Synapse won't install.The executable installs, but when I try to open the program, the startup bar appears and it fails to load. It might be a corrupted link, as I tried installing it on another laptop I own and encountered the same error.Without Synapse, I cannot configure either peripheral.I look forward to your reply.

Hello guys,I’m having trouble installing my Synapse. I’ve formatted my PC today with the same ISO as before (it’s a Windows 11 LTSC) and I've updated all the drivers.I installed Synapse, but right after I log in, it starts to download a 235kb file for a few minutes and then returns a message saying "installation failed". Chegou meu mouse novo ontem, dia 08/10/26 até então usava um deathadder essential desde 2018 e nunca tive problemas com o razer synapse antes. Coloquei o usb do mouse no pc, o mouse foi detectado só que quando fui instalar deu Falha de instalação, então desinstalei o razer synapse e instalei novamente, ou pelo menos tentei pq não saiu nem da primeira tela, agora o razer synapse nem abre, só fica em Falha de instalação e eu nem consigo configurar meu mouse.

Now can switch ANC on/off or ambient, but cannot adjust ANC level in Synapse 4 version 4.0.86.2601160905 and beta version 4.0.86.2511170410.Synapse 3 and Audio app are correctly. Since 02-Nov-2024, I reported this issue to Razer Support staff.By the way, last month (10-Dec-2025) Razer Support staff replied me that they tried to fixed.What are Razer doing?

sooo i tried like 15 times re installing it and every possible way but this just keeps coming up and i'm tired now been trying for more than 3 hours and nothing works, if anyone knows a way to fix this please help me, i don't want to get a new mouse.. it happened after i re installed my windows 11 and after that i have no idea why it's not working. any help please ? 

It feels like this is the tenth time already. I just changed ONE damn button and briefly switched between profiles, and now I'm back to an EMPTY default profile. ALL my settings are now GONE. WHEN IS THIS CRAP GOING TO STOP? And the best part is: WHEN are you guys FINALLY going to FIX this cloud storage???  THIS HAS BEEN THE PROBLEM FOR YEARS. Can you please fix these BASIC issues first, before you implement any unnecessary features (that nobody needs)? All I want is to use your damn products NORMALLY and not have to deal with this crap every time because my profile was suddenly DELETED even though I didn't do ANYTHING. Oh my god, I'm going to lose my mind here.

Hi everyone,My device: Razer Blade 18 (2024) – Intel i9-14900HX / RTX 4080 / Windows 11 Home I’m having an issue where Razer Synapse doesn’t start automatically with Windows, or if it does, it launches very late after the system boots. Until Synapse finally loads, my keyboard shows random lighting effects instead of my saved Chroma profile. Here’s what I’ve already tried (without success): Enabled “Start Razer Synapse on system startup” in the settings. Checked Task Manager → Startup tab (Synapse is enabled). Made a custom Task Scheduler entry to start Synapse at login (with and without delay). Set Synapse to run as administrator. Verified that Razer Synapse Service and Razer Central Service are set to “Automatic” and running. Reinstalled Synapse completely (including deleting leftover Razer folders from AppData and Program Files). Despite all this, Synapse still doesn’t appear in the system tray after boot, and the lighting only applies if I manually open the app. Is there any reliabl

Hi all!Just updated from Syn3 to Syn4, phased macros seems what I always desired for my Razer macros. Of course, it doesn't work at all lol. Even making the simplest macro (On Press: letter A - While Held: letter B - On Release: letter C) is simply not triggering.I tried different keys but I keep getting the same “non”-result. The macro is simply not triggered as I'd never press the button. (It's correctly assigned to the key of course).Any ideas? The mouse is a Lancehead TE (pretty old, could this be the reason? I thought macro is a software thing) and I have Synapse opened while testing; the profile is not on-board.Thanks everyone!  

Hi Razer team and fellow Insiders,I'd like to share a detailed finding about a long-standing issue with Razer 7.1 Surround Sound, in the hope it helps the software team fix it.SYMPTOMAfter 6–10 hours of headset use with 7.1 Surround enabled, audio starts crackling and then stops completely on every output. The usual workaround is to repair/restart 7.1 Surround in Synapse.ROOT CAUSE (what I measured)The Windows audio engine process (audiodg.exe) keeps accumulating handles until it hits the Windows per-process handle limit (~16.7 million). At that point it can no longer open resources and audio dies.- Failure #1: audiodg.exe at 16,711,677 handles and 12.4 GB private memory after 12.2 h of uptime- Failure #2: audiodg.exe at exactly 16,711,677 handles and 12.4 GB private memory after 9.7 h- Growth rate today: 2.43 million handles after only 1.45 h (~1.6–1.7 million/hour), which reaches the limit in ~10 h- A healthy audiodg.exe uses ~500 handles and ~17 MB- Restarting only the Razer surroun

The exported XML shows MouseMoveType=foreground and mmtSetting=2 instead of relative / mmtSetting=3. I have a Razer Tartarus V2 and I have been using the keymapping feature of Razer Synapse for quite some time now. However due to the recent updates to Synapse 4, it no longer works. I am given the message “mappings require razer synapse” and hence no longer works.Edit: Upon further tinkering, it seems as if its just the D-Pad that just doesn’t work anymore? 

The latest Synapse update (I had one yesterday I think) disabled the automatic profile switch for some applications. The profiles do not switch automatically for Google Chrome or VSCode, but they do work for others like Visual Studio or some games.I tried everything that was suggested in some support threads regarding the faulty profiles switch (there are lots of them apparently, meaning Synapse is quite buggy).Razer, please debug the latest release or give me a link to an older version of Synapse 4.

Around a week ago I upgraded to synapse 4, and with it came a butt load of problems. The keyboard keybinds keep reverting to the original. I have unplugged, restarted pc, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried changing the art software shortcuts to the original keybinds but not all of them work (caps lock cant be used as a shortcut). Not to mention sometimes the keys stop working entirely. I usually unplug and plug back in and it may work for a very short time after, about 2-10 mins usually.I understand my tartarus pro is old and I *could* consider replacement, but how do I know if it will work with a new one? It seems to be the software not the hardware.Everything was working perfectly before update.Please help me if you can, I have gotten extremely comfortable with this over the years and trying just a normal keyboard isn’t the same and really slows me down. I downloaded Razer Synapse 4 from the official Razer website. It only opens right after the installation succeeds. Once I finish adjusting the settings and close the window, I can’t open it again.Also, it isn’t running in the background on my computer. The only way to get back in is to re-download it.

did a clean reinstall with cleaner still the samei have to restart synapse to detect my devices

After recently synapse 4 update on Nov 14, the left/right sound direction is reversed when thx spatial audio is enabled on my blackshark v2. If I switch to thx stereo, the left/right sound direction is correct. I have tried to uninstall synapse 4 and restart pc and reinstall synapse 4, but the the left/right sound direction reversed issue is still there. What should I do to fix this? Is anybody has the same issue?

I was using my Tartarus V2 just fine. I was trying to get some new keybinds going to play Stalker. After being away from the PC for a while, I wanted to play Tarkov, but my keybinds stopped working. I looked at Synapse, but Synapse is telling me that Synapse needs to run in order for the keybinds to work . . . . . IT IS RUNNING. WTF am I'm supposed to do I play almost every serious game with the V2. I tried reinstalling. I tried everything I could imagine, but I can't get it to work anymore. I need help ASAP, please

Hi Razer team,I found a power-management issue with Synapse 4 and the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad on my Blade 16 2023 (RZ09-0483, RTX 4090).When the Cooling Pad is active, RzDLLService_v1.0.29.0.exe continuously loads NVIDIA nvml.dll.tasklist /m nvml.dll consistently identifies RzDLLService as the NVML client.In Optimus mode, even with:NVIDIA display inactive GPU utilization at 0% no application using the dGPUSynapse continuously reports the RTX 4090 active, and spot checks show:P01815 MHz core9001 MHz memory~28–34 WMy Cooling Pad fan curve is CPU-based, so continuous NVIDIA GPU telemetry should not be required.I tested multiple NVIDIA drivers and also updated Intel IPF, DTT and MEI, with no change.Could Synapse stop continuously polling NVML/NVAPI when a CPU-based Cooling Pad curve is selected, so the dGPU can return to its normal low-power state?I can provide additional logs and a CPU-only HID proof-of-concept that controls the Cooling Pad without NVML/NVAPI if useful.Thanks.
