RazerAppEngine Window prevents Windows shutdown

Hello.

I constantly face an issue where "RazerAppEngine Window" process prevents my PC from shutting down normally. Sometimes an additional error window pops up during this.

When will this be fixed?

All of this happens on new PC with a clean Windows installation.

It has been more than 1 year since first post about this, but bug is still not fixed.

Existing threads discussing this issue:

Additionally, while looking into this problem, I noticed extremely poor RAM optimization. The RazerAppEngine process takes 0.25 GB in background, grows to 1 GB if I open the app window, and stays at 0.5 GB after closing window. And this is not counting other Razer background processes.

It feels like software optimization was completely ignored. If I have Razer devices, do I absolutely need 32 GB of RAM or what?

I have been using Razer since 2012 (or even earlier, I think I bought my first mouse during my first years at university) and I use Naga series exclusively. However, since release of Synapse 4, I constantly see this problematic process, and each time it feels like disrespect to the users.

If this is not fixed soon, my next mouse will be the Corsair Scimitar Elite.

Don’t got the Shutdown issue.
But the RAM is going crazy for me too. Looked that up all day thought it was a issue on my side, but then I saw a lot of Reddit Posts about the Memory leak issue. They need to fix that ASAP !! It goes higher than 12 open Tabs in Chrome.. like what is going on ?!

When you shut down the computer, you don't see the "RazerAppEngine Window" for a few seconds, as if a Razer window is open, and do you have Synapse 4?

Nvm now I have the „RazerAppEngine Window“ too everytime I shutdown my PC. Didn’t had that at first but now it’s constantly showing up when shutting down.

Yes I‘m using Synapse 4.. idk why they don’t fix atleast the memory leak via a HotFix.. it causes crashes of games, programs and most importantly it causes a lot of PC‘s to Crash completely.
