Synapse 4 forces minimum macro delay (needs fix)

Hello,

I would like to report what appears to be a regression in Razer Synapse 4 regarding macro execution speed, compared to Synapse 3.

I am using onboard memory profiles with macros created previously in Synapse 3.
When Synapse 4 is completely closed, the macros execute instantly with no noticeable delay, exactly as configured (0 ms delay). However, as soon as Synapse 4 is running, a significant delay appears between macro actions - even when the macro itself is set to 0 ms delay.

I have prepared two videos that clearly demonstrate this difference in macro execution speed:

• Synapse 3 (fast / no delay): https://youtu.be/NsiYelsQUrk
• Synapse 4 (noticeable delay): https://youtu.be/9Bn-Bn-WMZk

In both videos, the same macro profile was used; the only difference is whether Synapse 4 was running or not. The behavior suggests that Synapse 4 intercepts or throttles hardware macros, inserting a forced minimum delay.

This was not present in Synapse 3, and represents a performance downgrade that affects users who rely on precise and fast macro execution.

I am not asking for a workaround such as disabling Synapse.
I am requesting:

  1. Confirmation whether this forced delay in Synapse 4 is intentional.

  2. Whether Razer plans a software/firmware update to allow true zero-delay macro execution when 0 ms is configured.

Thank you in advance for your response.

Synapse 4 has been a complete an utter mess. The macro system is damn near unusable compared to synapse 3. I have tried multiple times to create simple macros and have yet to get their system to work. In synapse 3 you could create macros that were stable enough you could chain them together to create a more complex series of macros, now you can’t even stop a macro mid run. When recording a macro you can’t see the countdown, the click delay being in separate lines is absolutely awful, there are no settings you can change to actually customize the macros, the key assignment is buggy as all get out. The cherry on top is that the retroactively made synapse 3 unusable to force people to switch to synapse 4 instead of allowing the consumer to use the program they wanted to use until they fixed synapse 4.
