The tech spec in Razer product support for RB14 2023 is a mess! I’m so into the RB14 this year but it just makes me feel it’s a rushed product that isn’t ready for releasing.
- Is the TGP 130W or 140W? Why I’m seeing two different answers from the Introduction webpage and the tech spec support page?
- Why does the support webpage says it’s 2560*1440 and 16:10? It’s definitely wrong.
- Why does it claim that 4060 version also has 4608 CUDA cores? It’s definitely wrong.
- Introduction webpage says it can last up to 10 hours, but support webpage says 11 hours (for this 2023 model, not 2022 model). Who should I trust?
- It says USB4 DP1.4 via iGPU. So I guess HDMI2.1 is dGPU-only. Then, is it USB4 DP1.4 via iGPU only, or can it go through either iGPU or dGPU on demand?
Will this Razer support 4TB NVME? Can this computer be charged over USBC?
Yes and yes, the usb charging maybe only for non gaming since it’ll be limited to 100 watt, both models the gpu only already pulls 100 watt plus, unless there’s new features gaming on lower power like on usb C with of course less performance.

- Good finding, actually 4060/70 max tgp are 115 watt but plus dynamic boost from cpu it could add another 15/25 watt, so the later is up to 140 watt, but don’t expect this since it depends cpu workload which’s quite intensive on nowadays titles, maybe on GPU benchmarking that taxes less CPU you’ll see something that high.
- Good finding again same with point 3 kind to f typos on support page, yes it should be 1600p if qhd+ and 4060 cuda cores should be around 3000ish it’s the 4070 cores amount, someone would get anger from Min haha. 4. Don’t trust battery running time that manufacturer advertised it depends on end users setting, you might reach that by doing this and that, at the end of the day it’s a windows PC and gaming laptop Optimus bugs and unoptimized 3rd party apps waiting in the corner lol.
- 5. On 2021 model that I had all signal output comes from dgpu, means good for performance bypassing igpu directly from nvidia gpu when using external monitor but it’s bad for someone who needs battery power when using external monitor like on presentation maybe on 2022 14 model they changed it some port runs through igpu for case like that apparently, there’s don’t think there’s already tech that has options to change it depending users needs.
- 6.Haha, i like criticism yes theoretically it should be bigger dimension wise, but we get what we want 16:10 aspect ratio which will add extra size like on blade 16, expandable RAM, i think there’s not much on 14 inch form factor has upgradable dual slot ram. Hopefully they can improve thermal as well and in the future add extra ssd slot like a n blade 15/16, which doesn’t take so much space I think. Don’t worry though I believe you don’t have to buy bigger backpack like for 15 inch one, I don’t think it’ll be huge difference compared to 2022 14 one, sleeves or case maybe.

- Why are you hiding the width & height dimensions from the main page? You have expanded it, I understand, for the larger battery and 16:10 display, there’s no reason to only show that it’s now thicker but hide the fact that it’s 3D larger. It may affect bag pack choice!
Amazing!
