Cant make Razor blade 15 go 144hz on another monitor

Hello u all :smile_: I have bought a laptop: Razor blade 15 2019 with 2080 rtx. The laptop screen is too little, and I want to have another monitor connected to it, so I can play on a bigger screen (24" 144hz). But my problem is the laptop only has hdmi and usb c.... I cant figure out what cable to buy, to get 144hz on the other monitor?? I started out buying a hdmi cable because i thought it could handle 144hz. After buying 3 different hdmi cables it seems it dosent work... I can only play with 60 hz.. (the monitor can do 144hz). I guess I have to find a cable USB-c to displayport? Because my monitor dosent have USB-c. But I cant seem to find this cable where it says, it supports playing with 144hz. And I cant find any forum where they link the cable i need, just the same question.. So I hope some of you Razer fans have the same laptop and plays on a external monitor and can tell me what cable to buy? I dont want to waste more money on cables that dosent work. I just want to play 144hz!!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_: Im really about to loose my mind about this.. Thank you all :smile_:
