I entered in for the "Tune In to Min and Win" giveaway here on Insider, and I ended up being selected! Now the Basilisk V3 can grace the rest of my Razer lineup, and I couldn't be more hyped! Shoutout to @shin1604 for helping me out!

How are you liking it? Ive had the Lancehead TE for the longest time and its starting to wear on me. Looking to purchase a new mouse.

Well, compared to the Lancehead, the grip is certainly better on the Basilisk. This was my upgrade from a Mamba Wireless, so I definitely noticed the grip texture right away. I haven't found too much use for the horizontal scrolling yet, it's probably a lot more useful for different applications than I use, maybe it's worth setting up a macro or something on those for some people? Absolutely love the option to go either tactile or free-wheel scrolling, that's a huge plus for me. The underglow is insanely cool, can't go wrong with RGB for your peripherals. The thumb rest is a massive plus, you don't realize it's something you gotta have until you try it. There are rare moments where I use the sensitivity clutch (the button by the tip of your thumb, it lowers sensitivity a lot for as long as you hold it down), but when I do use it, it's actually kinda cool. Some people can set a macro on that one too, but I personally like the default functionality. And finally, aesthetically, it looks incredible, the design as a whole is just perfect to me.
All of this, plus being only $70 MSRP, I think it's definitely worth it, and the hype was certainly warranted.
Congrats! It looks really nice, I must admit I'm kinda jelly

Thank you for such a detailed response!
I have a bunch of Basilisks (probably around 10) and I've had dragging on that side in at least 4 of them, maybe 5. Warped base and thin poorly placed skates = rough dragging on the pad in that spot. I usually have to double-up my skates and raise the LOD or replace the skates with thicker ones.
