It looks like it's been four months since someone posted something similar…. any updates on a next-gen eGPU chasis? One that will support Thunderbolt4, a larger power supply (etc) so the latest-gen video cards (NVIDIA RTX4090) can run on it??
I'm not aware of any specific updates on a next-generation eGPU chassis that will support Thunderbolt 4 and larger power supplies to accommodate the latest-generation video cards such as the NVIDIA RTX 4090. However, it's important to keep in mind that the technology industry is constantly evolving, and new products and updates are released frequently.
There are several eGPU chassis available on the market that support Thunderbolt 3, which can provide a significant boost in graphics performance for laptops and other devices. Some of these chassis also come with larger power supplies, which can help to support more powerful graphics cards.
Currently, there are a number of eGPU chassis on the market that support Thunderbolt 4, such as the Razer Core X and the Akitio Node Titan. These eGPU chassis have larger power supplies than previous models and can accommodate high-end graphics cards, including the latest NVIDIA RTX 4090.
It's worth noting that eGPU technology is still in its early stages, and there are ongoing developments in this area. As Thunderbolt 4 becomes more widely adopted, we can expect to see further improvements in eGPU chassis, such as increased power delivery and improved compatibility with a wider range of hardware.
