Here are the list of my setting: Laptop: Dell Inspiration 7755 i5 7 gen w/ GTX 1050 Keyboard: Fantech MK872 RGB Mouse: Razer Naga Trinity Headphone: HAMMERHEAD USB-C ANC Headset: Razer KRAKEN KITTY Edition Mobile Phone: Razer Phone 2 Mouse Pat: Razer GOLIATHUS SPEED My room has limited space hence I need to squeeze all things in one. After getting my first graduate job, I progressively adopt Razer's product as my gaming partner. Meanwhile, I am planning on Razer blade 15 optical switches. However, not only the price concern but also a lot of comment that suspicious the laptop will be broken by any means (Overhead issue, screen lift issue, blue screen issue, misusing material inside the laptop, etc.) What do you guys think, should I give it a try or recommend another brand?

Yes it’s time to upgrade your Dell laptop. Razer already offers officially Razer care that protects your Blade more than traditional one year so I think you don’t have to be worried and even from other resellers also other protection plans. Even i don’t have really hardware issues and never use really the guarantee with my Blade laptops, I saw people having issues and this actually happens also with other manufacturers, i think it’s because Intel and Nvidia try to make tiny powerful chips and manufacturers try to answer the market request by making every thing thin tiny laptops. So nowadays it’s really hard having device that hold like 5 years like before. And just my curiosity why a lot of poeple buying anything over 2K with only a year guarantee, I wouldn’t do that even with the best reliable product out there.

I will definitely purchase the new laptop this wekk or next with a new keyboard (I love the Chroma RGB system but not on this keyboard). Depends on the model, thin light they just started with gs40, which had bad build quality. On this year model they improved the build quality but still isn’t Blade level. Alienware did also join thin light party on m15 model but they had to sacrifice their main selling point on gaming laptops class, thermal performance and even on latest r2 they limited user upgradability by going to soldered ram, gs65 sacrifice flip motherboard for better cooling. So far I think Razer going to better direction compared to previous models, of course it’s still far from perfect but they are on this thin light world already way longer than those big companies.

Yo! I finally bought a new laptop. I went to the Razer retail and the staff said they are currently out of stock for the Blade15 optical switch. Moreover, the price is too high. In the PC games in 2019, I am pretty sure that 512 GB may not enough for me to download those games. Simply the Call of Duty will consume 175GB at least!. In the meantime, MSI was providing a very attractive promotion for the P65 Creator. It sells at US$1,922 with the following specification: I7 9Gen Base 2.6Hz Max 4.6Hz GTX2060 144Hz Monitor 16GB RAM 512 SSD PCI-E*3 (2 M.2 slots) 1.9Kg Besides, the staff in MSI was willing to give me a free upgrade to an additional 512GB SSD PCI-E*4, which has a total of 1TB storage. Also, they could upgrade an extra 16 GB RAM, which makes 1TB SSD with 24 GB RAM in total for FREE! Moreover, the P65 also comes with 15" backpack, laptop bag, plastic anti-dust keyboard cover, and M92 RGB gaming mouse (looks like a combination of Mamba Elite RGB and DeathAdder max) but that mouse feels trash lol... Due to the price has significantly different and also a lot of bundles, I finally decided to purchase the P65. Although I choose the competitor brand, I still bought a Huntsman TE as compensate for my favorite brand - Razer. Just want to say that Razer had such beautiful design and feature in the gaming industry. Though they trying to target the high-end customer that can afford the product regardless of the price. The majority of customer like me will still consider price tag and upgradability as a buying decision making. Hope they could adjust some of their marketing and selling strategies

I also find a fun fact that most of the "Thinnest" laptop the actual size is not accurate. Compare with my 15.6" Dell, the actual size for P65 is 14", I am wondering how to they set the standard

Even though you have a limited space constraint, you can still get those peripherals and the books a little arranged which will make it more cool. :smile_: You can check some of the small setup pins in Pinterest/Instagram/Reddit/Razerinsider communities which will give you lot of ideas to try out.
