I have an Asus 1080p 60Hz TN panel and an IBM monitor with a 1280x1024 (5:4 aspect ratio) and 75Hz refresh.

Standard Acer 2k ips monitor, good for now but looking for an upgrade to a g-sync monitor.

I just recently went from an Acer XG270HU (TN, 1 ms, 144hz, 27 inch, 1440p) to an ips equiv .... the XF270HU

I was a skeptic on how good "ips is over tn" but now I am a believer. well worth the extra $100 over the TN version

Currently using an Acer Predator XB252Q.

It's a 25'' 1080p TN monitor, quite expensive, but that 240hz :eek_:

I'm running a GTX 1060, so I don't reach 120+ FPS in most games. I wanted to get a GTX 1070, but since the new Nvidia Volta series GPUs are coming out in a few months, I didn't want to waste money on an expensive GPU. (My PC was built recently, like 2 months ago.)



The only complaint I have is that its color bit depth is only 8 bit (6 bit + FRC), so I do get some color banding, and the build quality is alright, but it does creak here and there.



I'm not sure if it was worth paying $650 for this, since for $750 I could have gotten an XB281HK, a 4K monitor from Acer, only 60hz, but I saw it in real life recently and mother of god the pixels are so dense. I looked at it from 3 inches away and I could barely see individual pixels.

I just got the same monitor for nearly the half on an amazon deal 😃
I´m using it with my Razer Blade 14 which has also a GTX1060. I´m only playing CS:GO and BF1 right now so higher refresh rates are a welcome feature. The only downside is that I have to use a typ c to display port adaptor/cable to use these features. The HDMI port is useless now and the only typ c port will be used just for the monitor which is a bummer 😕

I have the LG 29UM68, really enjoy using this monitor. First time with a widescreen, most of my games support it and when they don't I can play at 1080p with black bars which isn't ideal but doesn't make a difference to me.

I'm playing on a 1080p 60Hz 27" acer monitor.

My plan is to use my 1070 for years by sticking to 1080p/60Hz. My tv is 4k and honestly the difference doesn't bother me at all .

I have a 28 inch Samsung UE28, 3840x2160 and a new 34 inch Ultra wide Samsung CF791, 3440x1440. The Ultrawide uses Quantom Dot and really brings out some impressive detail.

I'm using an ASUS VG278Q for my primary monitor, and I have a Samsung S24D300 as a secondary. Two screens change your life in the world of productivity.

I'm playing on a really crappy Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, the only good thing about it is a 2ms response rate or 1ms I forgot. It's 60hz and 20". FHD resolution. But I plan to soon upgrade to an FHD 144hz monitor.

I have to say tough that even tough it is a fine monitor, the curved design looks cooler than it actually is - next time i would buy a monitor, i will buy a flat one again.

Would love to upgrade mine to 1080p but I think waiting for some new revolutionary standard might be a good idea. CPU and GPU market are really competitive right now. I hope monitor market will be the same too.
