Razer Kiyo Pro glitches | Razer Insider

Hey everyone,

So Razer hasn't been able to help me with this consistent problem I’ve had with this webcam. My webcam glitches/flickers in and out sometimes more than other times. I have looked up every possible fix online from watching videos to removing it off my USB Hub to buying a new USB 3.0 cord as it was recommended by Razer to stop the glitching. This problem has been persistent for about a year now. I love the way the video looks when its not glitching but its frustrating when streaming or recording and this glitching constantly happens to the point it gets really distracting and forces me to remove my webcam from the video/stream. Any help is more than appreciated.

Thanks,

-Bryan

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with your Razer webcam. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to fix the glitching issue:

  1. Check your webcam settings: Make sure that your webcam is set to the correct resolution and frame rate in the software you are using it with. You may also want to try adjusting the brightness and contrast settings to see if that helps.

  2. Update your webcam driver: Visit the Razer website to download and install the latest driver for your webcam. This can often solve issues related to compatibility and performance.

  3. Try a different USB port: If your webcam is connected to a USB hub, try connecting it directly to your computer's USB port. You may also want to try a different USB port to see if that helps.

  4. Check your lighting: Poor lighting can cause your webcam to flicker or appear blurry. Make sure you have adequate lighting in your room to avoid this issue.

  5. Disable other camera software: If you have other camera software running on your computer, try disabling it to see if that helps. Sometimes, conflicts between different camera software can cause glitches and other issues.

  6. Test the webcam on another computer: If none of the above steps work, try testing your webcam on another computer. This will help you determine whether the issue is with your webcam or your computer.

If none of these steps work, it may be a hardware issue with your webcam. In that case, you may need to contact Razer support again to request a replacement or a repair. hope so it will be useful for you,.
