I got my Kiyo Pro yesterday and after setting it up I realized that the webcam is super laggy to the point you can’t use it. You get a stationary picture every 3-5 seconds and that’s it. I tried messing with the settings on Synapse with no luck. It’s plugged in a usb 3.0 port. Today, I used it on a friend’s pc and it’s working perfectly fine. My pc is like 10 years old. So, my question is, does pc hardware affect webcam lagging/stuttering? If so, which particular hardware part is responsible for that? CPU or GPU? Thanks in advance!

Just baught a brand new pc i7 6th gen 32gb for my new photobooth thus to remove any doubts in the pc. My new razer kiyo pro lags horribly at 60fps just like my old kiyo pro in my other photo booth did. This is a new razer kiyo pro. Never had issues with logitech cameras. Had same issues with 2 different razer kiyo pro on 4 different pcs. To solve lagging it must be used at 10fps . Kiyo pro cant work at 60fps as it is advertised. Webcam only works in razer synapse at 60fps which is pointless as a webcam is purchased to be actually used with other programs.
