Hello so no actual acknowledgement from Razer of the problems with both versions of their new Razer raiju controllers I have had 2 ultimates through mighty ape and 2 tournaments through eb games all of which I have returned due to problems ranging from massive random right stick inputs both left and right stick drift issues on all the controllers had this with at least one stick the extra button underneath no longer clicked on one none got kore than 5 hrs of playtime before they became completely unbearable I tried updating to all the different firmwares some came with different firmwares but I tested all had problems so then tried updating which did not help at all the only thing that’s improved was wireless latency so I’m currently waiting for my ultimate to be confirmed faulty I just want to know has anyone got a controller with 0 issues I mean 0 cause I’m not paying this much for a paper weight this my whole experience has completely turned me off Razer and I currently say I would not recommend them to my enemies only real shame is it’s so nice of controller with great features like the sensitivity clutch button that just leaves you wishing you had one in your hands please Razer don’t ignore this

I have the exact same issues for approx $350 Au this controllers only use is a paper weight
I have stick drift issues with my Raiju Ultimate. For those of you who want to check the stick drift issues: check out this gamepad axis visualizer: http://www.wmchan.com/info/gamepad/index.cshtml
Tutorial:
If any of your analogs is at, say, 0.1000 by default when you're not doing anything, then it is drifting 10%.
Also, for input lag go to https://humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime and take this test, it requires a mouse click to test reaction time so just download the razer xinput driver (so that the pc treats it as an xbox controller) and download gopher so that you can use your controller to control your pc (X is mouse click). Taking the test gives me reaction times of around 270ms in wireless mode on pc - which is acceptable as it is about the same as a ps4 controller with me. On the ps4 (no installs required, just open the reaction time link in internet browser), it gives slightly higher times. Sometimes in bluetooth mode, though, it gives me a reaction time of 400ms which is unacceptable. This is not scientific testing however, so make sure you're used to the test (i.e. have taken it for around 5 or 10 minutes) before you start recording your results.

Same here. 1.04 firmware was already installed. Updated to 1.05 without any issues. Still smooth.
About interference and things you can do :
Check your router settings. Try to change channel on the 2.4 Ghz. Or even better if possible, turn of the 2.4 Ghz completly. Make sure the 5 Ghz network is the only wireless network. I had some problems with my gaming router interfering with other devices. Switching off the 2.4 Ghz completly fixed it.
Try it, and keep me updated.

You'll notice right away. Stick drift: means the left or right stick will move be itself without you touching it. Input lag: say you push the X button to jump in a certain game. But it does not respond right away. There is a slight delay before you actually jump. If those things occur, that's when you know the controller is faulty. Give it time though. Sometimes it does not happen right away. Just try to play different games to test it.
Update: my controller still goes great.
Thanks nightwing for your reply again. Helps out a lot.
I don’t have any drifting issue but I think I have an input lag issue on my Raiju Ultimate.
I’ll test it out a bit more, is there any thing I can do on my side before I send it in? I’ve read on reddit some people resetting the controller but it resets the firmware and it screwed it up even more. I’m hoping its not some other bluetooth or a 2.4Ghz USB device (Nari Ultimate) that’s messing with it. I Also have a Xbox One Turret connected to a steam link. I’ve read the 2.4 GHZ usb devices and Bluetooth devices might interfere with each other. I’m not 100% though.
Is it supposed to respond right after the click or as you release the button. (Lets say ‘X’ button for example)
Maybe I’m just poking at something that’s not there. I’m just skeptical because of everyone else’s issues, Otherwise i love the feel and the extra triggers and the customization. This is exactly what I wanted since PS2/3.
I received this with 1.04 pre-installed new and sealed 2 days ago and installed 1.05 on there.

I just got my Raiju Ultimate from Amazon (i live in the US) and it came with 1.04 Pre installed. I’m not sure if I’m being paranoid or not but how can you tell if I’m having drifting or lag input issues.

Currently on my fourth replacement. Arrived last monday. Firmware 1.04 was pre-installed. Been using it daily. So far no issues. No input lag, no stick drift. Even Bluetooth works great. But the test fase is a month. If it stays this way for a month, then it's safe to say it works. Time will tell.

Wired and wireless the reaction times are nearly the same. Maybe I’m being paranoid. Is there any good video or detailed documentation?

Night wing, whats a good test for a the drift issue or is it considerably noticeable?
Try with games such as the forest, and red dead redemption 2. With all my previous controllers i had stick drift on those games right away. Also borderlands 2. That's free as a psplus game.

Yeah that's the same for me, the Astro looks sick but for me it's the little things, I have the corded raiju and I don't know if I can go back to the old non tactile buttons.
Got ps4 ? Add me. So we can talk about it in party chat.

Great thanks heaps mate I'll keep that in mind, you can turn your PS4 on with it hey?
Yup, it has Bluetooth. That's what got me over instead of the astro c40.

Got it from razer eu store. Have the latest firmware from the new batch controllers. 1.04. Keep in mind, this is my fourth replacement. Some guy in reddit gave me that tip. Keep rma-ing it untill you get a working controller. It's a hit or miss. But once you get a good unit, it's great.
Where did you buy yours from? Or should I just make sure it's got the latest firmware?
So far so good. Been over a month now.
How's it working now? Been looking at this controller for a while but I haven't had much luck finding out if the new update is working, or if the first gen ones can have the new firmware.

Wow thanks for your updates as I should amhace yo tell mighty ape what I want to do this week I’m trying to decide weather I want to take the risk with another or just upgrade my headset but I would really like one of these controllers for the sensitivity clutch option alone so I think I’ll risk it with another one hopefully my 5th one works flawless I appreciate your updates and it would be greatly appreciated if you could continue
Go for it. People told me, to keep rma it untill you get a working unit. Now i understand why. Lol. It's a hit or miss with this controller. But once you get a working controller, it's awesome. Main reason for me to stay with the raiju ultimate instead of the astro c40, is because of the Bluetooth. I know astro c40 is wireless aswell, but it needs another transmitter. And not being able to turn on the ps4 using the home button was a no-go for me personally.
Btw, hit me up on ps4. Psn nightwing01

Is there no obvious difference between using wired and wireless?
I feel that the wireless delay is obvious, the firmware version is 1.04.
For me no. It works fine. Weither wireless, or wired.

Wow thank you for your response cause it is becoming seriously frustrating waiting for them to test and confirm they are actually faulty is a lengthy process please keep me updated if any problems develop
Will do.
So far, still good. Played apex legends yesterday wireless as wired. Won the round. No issues. Just 2 weeks to go, and it's out of the danger zone. Then i can safely say this unit is flawless.
