The Vanguards are now in Open Recruitment.
The Vanguards are Razer's Elite Community Strike Team, Super Users, Brand Ambassadors and Insider Mods. If you want to take your Insider status to the next level and help us elevate the Razer brand and be more involved with Razer, this is your chance.
All you have to do is fill out this application form to get started.

Before you begin, please be sure to have your Razer ID's Linked to Insider.
/how-to-link-your-razer-id-to-razer-insider.1904/
Also, be sure to have an Insider name picked out for yourself and a fully fleshed out profile. Please don't use the default name that Insider gives you, those names are meant to be temporary! No identity crises, please!
Once you fill out and submit the form, we'll review your application and determine if there's a place for you in the Vanguards program.
There really isn't a single set of parameters that constitute a guaranteed spot. We're looking for a well-rounded group of Razer fans to help us bring Razer to a new level of community engagement and brand advocacy.
Our goal is to be more than just a community forum for Razer fans. We want to be a voice in the gaming community, make noise in the industry and represent the best gaming lifestyle brand there is.
For Gamers, By Gamers.

"After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes"
Feel free to ask us any questions, whether it be via PM or here!
That'll be pretty awesome! How many are expected to become Vanguards?
A fresh start for a new life.
Hope to get in. Lord knows I have nothing bad to say about Razer, not even about the support.
A new team is growing up

Though I have whole set of Razer peripherals, I'm definitely not qualify... But it really sounds interesting!
This is so cool, i'm totally gonna apply for it!

Lol. This whole thing strikes me as creepy, but 100% props to Razer for systematically leveraging fans into free marketing.
Thanks...? Haha, that's fair. But honestly, we're not looking at it as free marketing. We're looking to connect with the community, open up communication lines, give Razer fans a platform and a voice. We are trying more than ever to actively listen and show our community that we are listening. It starts with rallying representatives from the community and from there we work together to take the Razer community to the next level. We're looking to build relationships.

Errr... is being a Vanguard mean being a mod here?
Absolutely. At the base level, the minimum requirement is being a mod or some sort of community representative. But we have plans for those who want to go further and include them in things that we do as a brand.
Personally, I'll be very interested to see who chooses to apply to join us!!
We have a great time doing our jobs with Razer, but above all else you need to remember that if you take this path then it's all for the community and trying to ensure that others learn to love Razer as much as you do. It really shouldn't be a choice just because you think it'll have advantages or because you can do moderator actions. Always have the community's best interest at heart.

taking unpaid leave to volunteer or do events for Razer is the stuff that divorce is made of.
LOL - I can't help it, the way you phrased this really made me laugh. :big_grin_::big_grin_:
One of the reasons I'm so excited about this whole program is because it's evolved so much since we were first brought in to just be mods. Back then we didn't even know if the forum would survive, let alone needing mods. The fact that the program has grown so much since then is absolutely wonderful.

Sounds really good
great idea and see some value in having more brand advocates, especially in other regions. oh and yes i have applied!
Nice.

This seems REALLY interesting! Definitely down to get in, and will apply.
The mentioning of having our user name set first reminds me that mine still hasn't been fixed since the Synapse 3 beta messed it up. Has there been any headway on helping that issue?

IMO, those who chose the Razer's community can be their best ambassador.
And most of us have dreamed of an opportunity like this one without never making the first step.
Enven without searching for money, being to express your passion and your foundness of a brand and this one backing you up can be a great experience.

I'm super interested, and applied, but my heart kind of sank at the last 2 questions: the ones that ask if you're willing and able to travel (at own expense) to volunteer or help out with various events. I'm definitely willing, but not able to take work off to do that sort of thing (no matter how much I would love it). We just bought a house here in Australia, and with work and raising two very young children, taking unpaid leave to volunteer or do events for Razer is the stuff that divorce is made of.
I have a feeling I'll get passed over this time. It's not going to stop me from talking about Razer to everybody in my life, though!

Dude, I so feel for you! Had the same thoughts myself.
