Yes. I plugged it in then opened "Photo Booth" and the computer discovered the camera automatically. Now it works with everything.
I was also able to have it "work" by opening FaceTime but it is horrible, cannot control light, way too wide angle view and keeps trying to focus which was horrible as I was trying to record an educational webinar..
Before I ordered found that it would work with Mac and as it had such great reviews ordered but did not really start using until about a month after I received it. Downloaded I think was StudioLabs and it indicated works for Kiyo and Mac but only if you are streaming from that app. Does any one have any suggestion. Hate to post a warning and advise anyone who purchases to immediately see if it works with Mac ands meets their needs before too late to return. Thanks

not working on my mac at all. Will return it.
Unfortunately I had it working, sort of, but seemed ok and by the time I was using on a regular basis, was past the month and they were unwilling to extend the return (even though the person I spoke to said they would). DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA IF YOU HAVE A MAC!!!!!! and if you do, use it extensively in the first couple of months in ALL conditions.
