Razer Blade 15 RTX 2060 low fps

Just got my razer blade 15 two days ago, after I installed my favorite game CSGO (Counter-strike Global Offensive). Looking at the reviews of the razer blade 15 on youtube they tend to get a lot more fps than I am getting. I have CSGO running in low settings and all I get is around 140-160 fps.

Before you ask:
1. I have the laptop plugged in
2. NVIDIA drivers are up to date
3. Windows is updated to the latest

Are there any fixes to this, since I have seen other people with similar specs who tend to get a lot higher fps than this.

Well, maybe the system itself is throttling down to save the card. But why do you want it to go over 140 fps? Our eyes can't see more than 50 half frames per second anyway, 120 fps is pretty satisfying in this case, isn't it?

I don’t play CSGo anymore but I think there’s setting on windows to let it run on best performance, I remember when I play it firstly on old Blade there was notifications to disable something on windows setting, if I remember it rightly. You may want to check it online. Yes 2060 should be more capable than that, or maybe there’s in game setting you should check, 140 to 160 sounds to my you’re locked by v sync on your Blade 144Hz monitor.
Make sure v-sync is off. Double check your performance settings in Synapse to see if you are running in 'High' CPU & GPU vs. 'Balanced'.
There are settings that automatically limit the FPS when playing certain games, I also have an RTX 2060 Blade and according to Cortex I get 116 fps on Csgo which is about enough for me. I usually keep those settings turned on as well keep that in mind. These settings can be activated both directly on the game and your graphics driver so if you want more fps make sure to disable fps limiter settings on both. Also, I found Razer Blade 15s automatically have G-SYNC activated which limits fps to prevent tearing. I have not found a way to turn it off as of yet as I wanted to for a benchmark. I don't doubt that at least one of these settings are limiting your fps.
