Moving from Logitech to Razer mouse

This is a bit of an odd question; however, going from a Logitech mouse which has a 400 IPS to a Razer that currently rocks 650+ IPS, would I need to slightly lower my DPI? My brain is saying yes due to the more accurate optical laser that Razer can pick up while moving said mouse? Example: 800dpi on a Logitech G HERO (400IPS) to a Razer Viper 800dpi (650IPS) won't feel the same or am I over thinking it?
